Digipost app

With the Digipost app, you get quick access to your mail, notifications directly on your phone, and an improved reading experience. The app is free, secure, and available for both iOS and Android

There are several benefits of using the Digipost app:

  • You stay logged in for 60 days since your last use, and only need to use biometrics or a mobile code to reactivate the app.
  • You will always receive notifications on your phone when you have new messages.
  • You can go directly from the notification to the message.
  • Improved reading experience.
  • Better user experience with natural swiping and scrolling.

 

To download the latest version of the mobile app, you need:

  • iOS 15.0 or later
  • Android 11 or later

In some cases, you can continue using older apps and operating systems, but we recommend always using the latest version. Older versions may contain security vulnerabilities and lack functionality.

If your phone does not support the operating systems mentioned above, it may be a better solution to use Digipost via the browser on your mobile.

The apps are free to download and use.

  • In the app, you are always logged in unless you actively log out. It is enough to open the app with facial recognition, fingerprint, or phone code to activate it.
  • For security reasons, your login session may be downgraded to the level of a password if you haven't used the app for a while. In this case, you may find that you can open the app, but some letters will be locked, and you'll need to log in with ID-porten to access the content.
  • Another scenario is when the sender, often a municipality, sends a link to content located on another website instead of sending the content directly to you in Digipost. In this case, you will also need to log in again.
