Login

Log in securely with ID-porten to access your mail from both public and private senders. You can use BankID, Buypass, Commfides, or MinID.

  • To log in to Digipost, you can either use ID-porten or your personal number and a self-chosen password.

  • We recommend always choosing to log in with ID-porten. This gives you access to all messages from both the public and private sectors.

  • On ID-porten, you can choose between BankID, Buypass, Commfides, and MinID. Read more about the different login methods on ID-porten's help pages.

  • If you log in with a password, you only get access to read messages with lower security requirements from private companies. You do not get access to read messages from the public sector with a password.

  • ou can find "Log out" under your profile in Digipost. If you use the Digipost app on a personal device, such as your own mobile phone, we recommend that you do not log out after you are done using the app.

  • The benefits of staying logged in to the app are that you receive notifications in the app when you get new messages, and you only need to use facial recognition, fingerprint, or mobile code to open the app the next time you use it.

  • Even if you are logged in, the app closes and cannot be opened without your face-ID, fingerprint, or mobile code.

Security

  • Unlike regular email, Digipost is a secure digital mailbox. All messages sent in Digipost are encrypted and come from verified senders.
  • It is safe to click on links you receive in Digipost because we have control mechanisms that prevent malicious actors from using our solutions.

Ownership

  • You own the messages you receive in Digipost. This means you can be sure that no one can change or delete content in your mailbox.

Only important messages

  • In Digipost, you avoid spam and advertising. You only receive important messages. No senders can pretend to be someone else when they send in Digipost.
